Re: Subfolders for Tokens and Stamps

I have managed to get away from using them for artwork, and just have character tokens now. I have been using Dungeon Painter Studio to make my maps and port them into IDM for use on the VTT. It greatly reduced the time it takes me to make maps, and reduced the size of my files. Now I just have hero...

Subfolders for Tokens and Stamps

Is there a way that IDM can be made to recognize sublfolders for Tokens and Stamps? Was curious since my own collection of Tokens and Stamps is getting rather lengthy....

Mapping program!

So, for those of you artistically challenged like myself, I finally found a reasonably priced, easy to use mapping app. It is called Dungeon Painter Studio. It is $15 on Steam. I have loved it so far! here is an image of a portion of a map I made in DPS and ported into IDM!

Additional ideas!

So, I was wondering if expanding the color palette could be a thing? When I first started, the color palette seemed adequate, but as my mapping gets more complex, I would love to see a much broader range on the palette! Also, would it be possible to implement the pencil tool to have changing shape? ...

Re: Two (maybe simple?) ideas

Depending on which system you are using, there are loads of Initiative tracker programs out there. For instance, for my Pathfinder games, we use Combat Manager (combatmanager.com). It covers a wide range of D20 games (3.0, 3.5, 5e, PFRPG). It means Alt-Tabbing, but in all honesty, that is not very d...

Tokens

Hey Users! Just wanted to let everyone know, if you want custom tokens for Infinitas DM, head over to Drivethrurpg.com. After some playing around, I have found out that anything that says it works for Roll20 also fits very well into Infinitas! No rescaling needed in most cases! My personal preferenc...

Re: Stamp size change

I am creating the maps inside IDM. Everything you see there is hand drawn in the program by me. When I went back and started the map I sent you fresh, problem was gone! The file sizes are increasing with the use of the tokens, however, my group has an interesting habit of interacting with the enviro...

Re: Stamp size change

So, fun side effect of adding a metric ton of custom tokens: It increases the load times across the board from loading the map in program to the Steam Cloud Sync.... Not getting an error code at all, just increased times. Also, while working on one of my maps, the Fog Option stopped working for that...

Re: Stamp size change

I have also discovered something I am certain has been around for a while, but I just placed them into my Tokens folder. Fantasy Furniture Tokens by Wyldfurr on Drivethru RPG. Here is a pic of the difference from my (lame) hand drawing of furniture and the tokens!
